In this underrated (in our opinion, but don't ask John Cusack!) dark comedy, hilarity ensues when Lane Myer (Cusack) is dumped by his girlfriend Beth (Amanda Wyss) and attempts suicide in multiple ways.

An incredibly quotable film full of quirky characters and scenes, this movie is a perfect amalgam of 80s high school angst, music, extracurricular activities and suburbia.

Not to mention it's got Booger, er, Curtis Armstrong, playing the supportive friend to heartbroken Lane. Surely, this is worth at least two dollars!
